Liberty vs. Lynx

Hey everyone, I have some new work to show! Last Sunday I photographed my first professional WNBA basketball game as the New York Liberty faced the Minnesota Lynx. It was a special night as they celebrated the 2004-2005 University of Minnesota women’s basketball team that made it to the NCAA Final Four. Ironically, two of the stars from that 2004-2005 Lady Gopher team play in the WNBA; Janel McCarville of the New York Liberty and, of course, Lindsay Whalen; star of the Minnesota Lynx. It was an extremely competitive game, however, Janel McCarville’s team walked out with a two point victory and bragging rights over her former teammate. I would like to thank the Minnesota Lynx for giving me the opportunity to photograph at their game. It was an amazing experience and great way to spend a Sunday evening!
