Last Sunday I went down to the Metrodome to shoot the Winona State Warriors vs. the St. Cloud State Huskies double-header. My buddy Tony Mueller pitches and plays centerfield for the Warriors. Winona State’s athletic director and coaches agreed to let me bring my camera down on the field. Needless to say, I had great time shooting baseball in November! It was a joy to shoot a game at the dome, but the downside was not every light was on in the stadium. Therefore, I was unable to shoot at a high shutter speed… even with my ISO cranked up to 1600, the highest my Cannon 30d goes. On the bright side, the motion blur turned out pretty well and it made the wide shots of the field turn out unique. I would like to extend my thanks to Tony and the Winona State Warriors for giving me the chance to shoot their double-header. I wish the Warriors the best of luck in the rest of their season and I hope you all enjoy the new photos! And keep your eye’s out for the final version of these photo’s. Some of these photos will be further edited for one of my final projects.
